It's a bit of a topsy-turvy, weird old world at the moment but we're embracing it as best we can it here at Happy `Hood HQ.

We'd normally launch the new issue of our community good news zine with a free public event, but as we can't do that, we're doing things differently....

Issue 9 was released into the wild on our 2nd birthday, 19/4/20.

A week later, we'll be having an online event answering your questions, talking about the new issue and celebrating the independent businesses, community groups, charities and people featured in issue 9.

The Happy 'Hood are delighted to welcome one of Ed Sheeran's close pals and who he describes as "one of my three main musical influences", Luke Concannon. The chart topping singer/songwriter, shot to number one with the JCB Song as one half of Nizlopi and has been creating beautiful, inspiring, music for over a decade.

We couldn't be more excited to welcome him back to Northampton. Having experienced Luke play live many times, we promise you will leave feeling replenished and your soul literally soaring.

This is a listening event, so we invite that there be quiet whilst Luke plays. It’s a gift economy gig so you ‘pay what you think it’s worth’.

The bar will be open for refreshments.
