Hi, I’m Laura (She/Her), the Founder of The Happy `Hood and I’m pansexual.

I found it hard not knowing other pan/bisexual people, especially being in a straight-passing marriage. There is a lot of bi/pan erasure in general and a lot of fetishization of folk who are bi/pan.

So I figured I’d create a space where bi/pan people of marginalised genders can get together and build a bi/pan community. With support and encouragement from Q Space, I set up a little group and we’re going to be meeting in real life! We’ll have discussion topics related to our sexual orientation, gender identity and everything in between.
